Smash Is dying

Unfortunately the Smash community is dying. We should try to do something to get it more active and have a better community

We had a thriving community. ATA decided to do an update, the whole community hated the ideas, ATA did it anyway, and the community broke up. You are playing in the remnants of the game, and the community cannot be rebuilt.
Even though the game has gotten better, almost no new players stay and veterans still drift off daily.

Why doesn't ATA advertise? They have a channel on YouTube, they don't use it. They're on Google Play, but they keep no achievements... Even when I search on Google Play Store, it appears after many other games and apps

Actually ATA is terrible at promotion. They underuse their own website, face book, app stores, twitter, other social media and their own forum and character walls. When I started years ago I pointed this out to the Devs on a number of formats. They were so lax I ended up answering all the questions on Smash's wall, for over a year, because newbies were being ignored.
If ATA had bothered to spend a minimal amount, 60k, on one person to coordinate and engage with players and potential players, they would probably have gotten thousands more players across all their games, reaping hundreds of thousands of dollars yearly.
Their poor beta promotion of Kraken, is just more of the same. Months in an I still have not gotten a successful link to the game.

Just because they have bad advertising doesn't mean they don't. We all found the game some how and word of mouth only gets so far

Exactly!
Same thing with their charging model. One person who understands economics and they could have vastly increased the number of small payment players.

I sadly agree with you. It's sad seeing the other vets drift off.
